Welcome to Glue Club! We are a community founded on the belief that powerful leaders deserve a safe, supportive, connected community to support their growth and learning. We strive to provide an environment that is inclusive and respectful for all participants.
These Community Guidelines outline the norms that guide us and form a part of your Membership Agreement. Members are expected to honor these guidelines in all of their interactions with Glue Club and with each other, whether in person or through any digital forum.
If you have any reason to believe that a Member of Glue Club is not acting in alignment with these Community Guidelines, please reach out to hello@glueclub.com to discuss your concerns. All reports will be held in confidence to the extent possible, and we will take any action necessary as a result of the concerns you share.
Glue Club may amend these Community Guidelines in its sole discretion at any time and will make a copy of the new Community Guidelines available on its website. We will also update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Community Guidelines. You are responsible for checking the website periodically to view the then-current Community Guidelines.
GUIDELINES
Own your Glue Club experience. You get out what you put in. It is up to you to get what you need out of this community by attending virtual sessions and in-person events; connecting with others through Orbiit chats, in Slack, or in person. When you are attending, put your video on and put down your phone/other distractions and make space to build real connections with the people here. This community will really show up for you if you show up for it. If something isn’t working for you, share your feedback with the Glue Team. We love helping folks get what they need.
Be vulnerable. Glue Club is an intimate, powerful community of peers. If you are willing to talk about the real stuff – the mess, the problems you're facing, the hard stuff – you will find that you will get unbelievable support, and you also make space for others to follow your example. Create the community culture that you want to be a part of.
Confidentiality. For people to truly be vulnerable and for us to maintain the intimate community that has made Glue Club special, it’s essential that what is said in Glue Club stays in the Glue Club. Everyone’s commitment to confidentiality makes our environment of trust, open sharing, and learning a reality. Each Member should respect the confidentiality of all other Members and not disclose discussions, communications, exchanges, and activities at events without permission. In other words, do not share any Member information (including all contact information) without the express permission of the Member to whom the information belongs or who shared it.
Give and receive. Each person we admit to this community is here because we believe our community can learn from you. This is a network of expert leaders, and each of you brings unique value. We encourage open and honest communication through active listening and thoughtful feedback. We encourage stepping up to share freely as well as stepping back to make space for others. Unless it’s explicitly asked for, we encourage you to focus on sharing your stories and experiences versus advice. We expect Members to demonstrate kindness, compassion, and care for others in all of our communications.
Inclusion and Tolerance. All Members are welcome in our community and will be treated with tolerance and respect. We will not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any form, including, but not limited to, any discrimination or harassment based on race, class, gender, gender identity, age, religion, nationality, physical abilities, neurodivergence, or otherwise.
No Solicitation. Help us keep Glue Club authentic, open, and solutions-focused, and refrain from solicitation. We’re here to support one another to learn, find solutions, share frameworks & best practices, not to find new customers for our products or services, etc. Members may not solicit other Members directly for sales and marketing of services or products through Glue Club via Slack or in person unless expressly invited to do so.
Accountability. Any Member who violates these Community Guidelines or acts in a manner contrary to their intent may be subject to suspension or termination of their Membership at Glue Club’s discretion at any time.
Please reach out to our team hello@glueclub.com to report any issues in the community or areas where you think we can improve.
